F-Secure Internet Security 2009 1.30 is the latest version of this useful and highly customizable software we can buy and/or evaluate for free for a 30-day period. The program provides protection against virus and spyware, this protection can be selected to high, normal, off, custom, or performance-optimized levels. It also offers real-time scanning, scheduled scanning, e-mail scanning, and manual scanning. The Parental Control setting allows us to control who is going to use our computer connecting to the Internet, when, for how long, and if the user is a child we can introduce the pages they can access, while for teenagers we can select the forbidden website, with drug content, adult content, etc. The Internet Shields shows the Application Control, Firewall Protection, Intrusion Prevention, Logging and Dial-up Control, while with the Spam Control we manage the Allowed Senders and Filtered Senders Lists. We can select the automatic or manual updates. It features a nice, clear and user-friendly interface, a good help guide, online support and lot of information is available at a click of a button from the GUI, such as the Virus Global Map, and much more. It runs under Windows Vista, XP and 2000 OPs. |
